Manifestation goes beyond goal setting. Instead of using mind power and focussed action to achieve your goals, manifestation reaches deeper, bringing in psycho-spiritual and emotional aspects. Essentially manifestation is a much broader, multifaceted approach to achieving those things your heart desires.
Manifestation, it turns out, has at its core, the heart – your real heart AND your heart of hearts. For most of us this means that the energy that gathers in our head through the process of thinking, needs to drop into the heart. In the West we have to retrain the basic everyday way we operate. But it can be done, and the more people who do it, the easier it becomes for others.
According to spiritual teacher Gregg Braden when the energy of the lower three chakras, comprising love or it’s opposite, meet the energy of the top three chakras, comprising thought/intellect, a feeling is created  in the heart. The quality of that feeling will determine what is manifested. And the quality of the feeling, is determined by the quality of the originating thought and whether it meets fear or love half way down.
It stands to reason that feelings of self worth and value will be a key determinant to whether you are successful in deliberate manifestation projects. Raising awareness and bringing healing to your self esteem is a prerequisite to achieving your goals in life. Hah! That’s the bad news for many as this is easier said than done – and many are so heart blocked that it’s seems an enormous task.
The good news is that the minute you set the intention to heal your self-esteem your Soul engages as well. Your Soul brings about an ideal set of circumstances (often not too comfortable), creating a perfect learning path -thus providing help in mystical and marvellous ways. Thank you Soul!

Is there a link between Death and Success?

I truly 100% and totally believe that if you’re meant to die at a certain time, nothing can stop that.
There’s a story in South Africa about a young professional who gets hijacked and decides to move to America to get away from the crime. Where does he get a job? In none other than the world trade centre! Where is he working when the planes hit on 11th September? Yes, you know it!
I notice that these stories are quick to come into my mind when I try making decisions which ‘avoid dying’ and then I relax into a philosophical mode and let go trying to guide things too much. But today I realised I have selective believing – and it’s working against me!
If I totally and utterly believe I cannot avoid a date with my death why is it that I don’t totally and utterly believe that a date with success cannot be avoided either? That’s nonsense. It’s got to stop. From today on if the rule applies to death, then I’m insisting my mind apply it to success too! – especially those spontaneous visions of success that surface in quiet times, those juicy images of wonderful exciting things happening in graceful easy ways.

Can you meet your Soul in a real and tangible way?

Can you meet your Soul in a real and tangible way? The Answer is yes. In 2007 I started doing this daily affirmation ‘I want to know my Soul, see my Soul, hear my Soul, feel my soul, meet my Soul, work in harmony with my Soul.’ Sometimes the desire built up so strong I would shout the affirmation to the sky!

I felt really clear that if I was to be worthy of teaching on the topic I needed to have a personal encounter of a significant kind. Yes I am given lots of psychic information –  and have an ever present and astoundingly accurate sixth sense, but I wanted to go a step further and have a personal experience of my Soul as well.

During a meditation at a conference in Italy recently this goal was realised. I had a personal encounter with my Soul Self that was amazing and incredible. And I can tell you that our Soul is alive and kicking and awesome! What I encountered was how true this description from the Course in Miracles actually is:

‘Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?’

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And it’s not just in some of us; it is in every one of us.’

So hang in there, holding fast to the truth that there is a sublime part of you, one that already knows every situation and choice that lies ahead; every possible option and its outcome –  and the wisdom to guide you to the right one. Even more exciting is the knowledge that you are indeed magnificent and gorgeous, and that if you will simply hold fast to the desire to meet that magical part of yourself, it is possible.

There’s a Link Btw Soul and Power

So many references to Soul contain references to power. Power is to Soul as water is to the ocean. You can’t have one without the other. In exploring the nature of the Soul its essential to explore the nature of power too.

Psychologist’s say that perceptions of power and control, the belief that you can make the changes you desire are critical to mental health – and success. Two psychologists, Simms and Bauman go further, stating that the degree of power a person feels will determine the degree to which they fight to live or die. It’s clear that believing you are powerful is vital to healthy living on this planet. I go a step further: having a sense of your personal power is vital to living a Soul led life. (see my posting below on what Soul is.)

Unfortunately most people never give much thought to personal power, especially not in a spiritual context. Lots of prayers refer to the Power of God Almighty, but there are also many warnings which tell us that we challenge God at our own peril. Hell! I don’t want to incur the wrath of God! But because of the volume and intensity of Judaeo-Christian religious content in our collective Western psyche, it’s highly likely that most Westerners walk around with a subliminal fear of being powerful whether we have been exposed to religious thought or not!
I still dance with the cut off between my will versus ‘thy will be done’. I realise both need to be involved, but just how do I do it. Being personally powerful could be construed as being in competition to an omnipotent God.
If the fear of God is not enough, add to that the real threat that a powerful person brings to society’s status quo. Powerful people don’t just comply. They kick up a fuss, insist on being heard – and want to change things. Jesus is an example of such a person, so was Moses to name just two ‘up there’ beings. Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and Ghandi are less holy examples of people standing in their power, but how much poorer our world would have been without their courage and sense of personal power?
The question is are you prepared to take the risk and do the same? If you want to have a healthy relationship with your Soul, (and who doesn’t?) I believe you don’t have an option.’ But are you prepared to do the work to break the pattern of your learned powerlessness?
In our childhood we learn powerlessness.
As adults we need to reclaim it & retrain it.
According to Sandra ‘Power is a prickly pear. Who can I throw it to so I don’t have to hold onto it?’. Just why would we do this? Could it be that the most common model of power is simply lousy. It’s all about force, or power over people. This is a violating energy that I personally don’t enjoy being around so why would I aspire to it at all?
I have discovered is that genuine personal power is a completely different thing. Genuine personal power an honouring energy. Yes it’s strong enough to put down boundaries or be assertive when called on, but it’s a far cry from violating. Rather it’s a sacred moment in which we allow ourselves to stand in the centre of who we are. And when we stand in this centre, we say YES to ourselves and YES to our Soul. And that’s what I’m interested in.
This is how the Course in Miracles says it:
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?’
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God . Your playing small does not serve the world

So how can we go about changing powerlessness to powerful in our daily lives? Here’s a tip:

1.Fill in an hourly chart, rating your feelings of personal power out of 10.
2.Note what events trigger an increase or decrease in your sense of power.
3.If you have a decrease, tap your finger lightly on your throat and say ‘I am willing to release the pattern that’s created this situation. I invite genuine personal power.’

This simple process will go to work on the unconscious patterns deep in your being. The more you take these three steps the greater the effect. By taking these simple actions you will be taking a step towards being a happier more successful you – a version of you that is able to stand in your centre and say YES to your Soul. Now that’s power!
